After two years of intensive work LaserComp is proud to introduce its new version of WinTherm Software. The new software provides many improvements (a greatly expanded .ini file to set an extensive variety of defaults, greater flexibility in data available and how it is viewed, one program for all instruments, etc.) over the original version of WinTherm. While it offers increased flexibility it still affords the option of running tests quickly and simply.

WinTherm Software package operating under Microsoft Windows enables connection of FOX instruments to an IBM compatible computer through a standard RS232 interface. The computer can be used solely as a storage device for results, or WinTherm can enable you to operate the instrument entirely from the computer.

Through a series of windows all the test parameters and format of outputs can be setup and changed at any time during the test. The software provides complete control of the instrument at all times. All selected data is automatically stored on a hard disk. Once the test conditions have been set and the test started, the computer can be used to display any desired outputs in a series of windows. Two FOX (and as many as 8 with modest additional hardware) instruments can be run simultaneously on one host computer.

Computer system requirements:

1. IBM compatible computer, Pentium with at least 32 MB of RAM (64MB for WindowsNT), H.D.D. with minimum of 4MB available, 3.5 FDD. A color SVGA monitor and card with a resolution of 800 by 600 or better is recomended, a mouse and one available RS232 port.

2. Windows95/98/ME or WindowsNT/2000/XP
