TESTING
Testing will require connection to a LN2 (Liquid Nitrogen) dewar. In order to
reduce the use of LN2 the instrument will control the flow rate by a controlled
solenoid valve on the dewar. A small portion of the exhaust gas is routed
inside the test chamber in order to provide a dry atmosphere. The Instrument is
capable of completing nine entered setpoints covering the entire temperature
range within a day.
The guage pressure of the LN2 tank is 22 psig (151 kPa, 1.517 bars). Itwill use
~120 liters for a typical full range test of ~10 hours duration. Tests should
begin at the lowest temperature and end on the highest. This is critical to
removing the problems instroduced by condensation. The Lowest mean temperature
is -165°C.
